| Shadow Selfie: The exhaust from the lead locomotive is lying low and to the rear; it's likely that Amtrak's "Crescent" is making track speed (79 mph here) as it crosses the bridge over U.S. 29 north of Culpeper, Virginia. Although there are a little over three miles to go, and the speed will need to be reduced to 40 just before arriving at the station, there's a good chance that Amtrak 19 will be "waiting for time" to depart from Culpeper tonight... |
