Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern SD40-2 #6414 is a long way from its Midwestern home as it leads Arizona & California train 708 off the ARZC Cadiz Subdivision at Cadiz. Here, the crew will swap trains with the BNSF Cadiz Local, and return back east with a Phoenix-bound manifest. Recently, the two CEFX SD40M-2 leasers that were on lease to the ARZC were swapped with a pair of the ex-ICE units that GWI acquired when they started their RCPE operation a couple years ago.
