1782 crossing under Trotwood ave. with some empty hoppers for sand loading This was beginning of the wye in Columbia. The track in the fore ground would take you to Florence Alabama the other would take you towards Decatur Alabama. At one time this was the mainline out of Nashville to Decatur track until they built a highline track by passing this old pre civil war track.
