After the last trip to Mill 5 at Dayton, Simpson 1201 gets a "not quite" final spin on the turntable, courtesy of the hardworking crew. In the foreground, like a stake through the heart, is a surveyor's flag that foreshadows the demise of the railroad and the Simpson Lumber's Mill 3. A few days of switching finished lumber trucked down from Mill 5, is all the work left for the railroad. 125 years, and it's all over!
