The End is near! While most of the Ae 4/7 Series has been withdrawn already, the locomotives type "Sécheron" were still used in double traction for freight treins. At the end of May 1996, the era ended for good, as Ae 4/7 11010 and 10943 pulled one of their last freight trains. A few days later, they were taken out of service.
Both these locomotives still exist today, but are not ready to use.
