While a lot of great things are happening on the old NWP Redwood Route, not all of it is shiny and new. Seen here is the Schellville dead line. These locomotives have literally been left to rot, at the hands of mother nature. Heading the line is a B&LE F-unit (F7?) and its B-unit. Behind it are three SP cadillacs and a North Coast Railway GP9. These units are rotting inside and out, many containing beehives and birds' nests. A sad sight indeed.
