| Homeward Bound
The CN purchased the EJ&E in 2009 so catching a consist like this out on the former IC main in 2015 is becoming hard to come by. What makes this train cool though is that a few miles north of here they will swing onto former EJ&E trackage at Matteson for the trip east to Gary, IN, and into CN'S former EJ&E Kirk Yard. This train had around 100 cars with 80 being steel loads. |
