Remarks & Notes

CP 7109, an MLW (Alco) S4 switcher sticks its nose out of the Vancouver roundhouse while passenger GP9 no. 8516 looks on. This facility served city switchers as well as passenger power for CP's Canadian. The small yard served the Canadian passenger equipment, and a balloon track circled the roundhouse to turn passenger trains. Access to the facilities was through a horseshoe shaped tunnel under the main business district of the city.
