36 years after first photographing DMIR at Proctor, the color scheme has changed, the power is different, but the heritage still comes through. By 2005 the remaining SD9/18s were pretty much rebuilt into SDMs, like the 317 to the right of SD38-2 212. By this time DMIR had ventured into turbo charged EMD power such as the 410, a former SP SD45-2T. The 212 could use some touch up paint.
