| Afternoon thunderstorms dump rain in the mountains to the east as a westbound Union Pacific Operation Lifesaver special led by AC4400CW No. 7250 heads west out of Rogers Mesa on Colorado’s North Fork Subdivision on June 14, 2009. On the east end of the four-car passenger train is Rio Grande heritage SD70ACe No. 1989 and UP E9B No. 963B used as lead locomotives on eastbound trips on the branch. |
