| A badly damaged BNSF 8123 rests in the house track at Valley View awaiting to be sent to Topeka for rebuilding. This unit was the leader on the Z WSPALT8 06L that hit a washout just south of the siding at Valley View on May 8, 2015. The crew survived with non life threatening injuries. The three other locomotives involved in this derailment were scrapped on site. |
