| Ups, this train lost a car on the open line! Brake distance measuring of a new typ of container car Xas 99 85 9383 232-7 of SBB Infrastructure for the maintenance of the new Gotthard base tunnel. The car was uncoupled in full motion, so the brakes applied and the distance til standstill was measured, together with the temperature of wheels and (composite) brake shoes. The locomotive Re 487 001 is from Swiss Rail Traffic, the blue/white measuring car from Prose Company. |
