| My first visit to Tehachapi Pass was all I could have hoped for: Nonstop traffic and crystal clear skies all day! Late on the evening of the summer solstice, a northbound Z train is descending through the S-curves and past North Bealville approaching Tunnel 2, while in the distance a manifest with its mid-train DPU's visible above Allard Horseshoe is just about to get pulling upgrade out of South Bealville. |
