Remarks & Notes

The workers train has just departed west yard at Sandaoling on the 3rd of March 2014. Engine crews would change over at this location twice a day to work their 12 hour shift and service the engines. With the closure of the spoil operations on the west side of the pit soon after this picture was taken, this no longer occurs. Most of the track in the photo has since been removed including buildings and the lighting towers and the location is now lays deserted.
