VL85 electric AC locomotive with freight train goes along the Lake Baikal. VL85 series is the most powerful AC electric locomotives in the world. The VL85 is a Soviet (and later Russian) built electric AC mainline freight locomotive manufactured at the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant (NEVZ).
