    The helper of a long eastbound Santa Fe pig train crosses Tehachapi Creek as it approaches the Loop from below. This is the 5th crossing of Tehachapi Creek. The tiny creek is running now, but will soon be just a trickle or die altogether. When heavy rains come, though, this little trickle can become a bridge-destroying monster.
