Sitting in anticipation
Erie 833 has been stored in Port Jervis for years now waiting for whatever comes next. It was originally intended to run dinner excursions along the Delaware River with the coaches in the background, but nothing has materialized. The last time the engine turned a wheel was when it visited Spencer, NC for the streamliners event.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
