    Remarks & Notes
To the left of the fence used to be a spur that was a staging location for local excursions by the Kentucky Central Chapter NRHS. There is evidence of the spur track still remaining on the bottom right hand corner. The excursions featured #11, 2-6-2, ex Reader Railroad steam locomotive. The excursions ended in the early 1990's. The steam locomotive sit idle from that point till 2010, when it was moved to Nicholasville, KY for a static display. Other rail equipment there was eventually scrapped as the owner of the property wanted it removed. A lot has changed in this location just in the past 5 years.
