    Remarks & Notes
"James J. Devine" A side view of New York Container Terminal (NYCT) Rail CLCX 2058 shows a distinctive name plate under the cab windows of the locomotive that read "James J. Devine". Mr. Devine is responsible for the operation as well as the modernization and expansion of the New York Container Terminal, therefor his name was put on the locomotive as a dedication to his work. MORE ON THE LOCOMOTIVE: CLCX 2058 is a Process Locomotive (CLCX) PL1500-4RS, former Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway GP20 2058 and features a Tier 4i, 1560HP MTU Engine. MORE INFO ON THE RAILROAD: NYCT (New York Container Terminal) Express Rail is one of four private railroads in the state of New York that serves the Howland Hook Marine Terminal located in Staten Island, NY. The railroad is an on-site five-track intermodal rail facility that connects via the Arthur Kill Vertical Lift Bridge to New Jersey (Handled by Conrail) and the national rail network. The rail facility opened in mid 2007 and uses part of the once-abandoned North Shore Branch of the Staten Island Railway, which leads into the Arlington Yard, and the Travis branch, along the West Shore (*Some info from Wikipedia). *Photo taken with permission from Port Authority & Homeland Security.
