One day to go... Pacific Electric 500 is one of a pair of replica PE 500-class trolleys built in 2003 for the Waterfront Red Car Line. Sadly, on the day after this, September 27th, 2015, this line will cease operating. While the official word is that the shutdown is not permanent, most accounts indicate that this line will not be back, and even if it is, it may not use these wooden trolleys.
