The mixed batch of 34 ex Tranz Metro (New Zealand) motor coaches and trailers that arrived in Durban, South Africa on board the MV Pangani. They are pictured here, just after sunrise, in a holding yard in Durban, where they were being readied for their journey to Welkom for refurbishment. Confirmed details were very sketchy, but they imported by Novus / Genrail and were believed to be destined for Tanzania and Zimbabwe once the refurbishment process was completed.
