A 1967-built ex-NYC GP40 leads a MARC PX out of Gettysburg, bound for Hagerstown, MD. The train is about to enter the railroad cut, where, on the morning of July 1, 1863, the Confederate brigade of Brig. Gen. Joseph R. Davis was severely handled by elements of the Union I Corps.
