| Westbound empty ethanol train UP UEXCT1 09 off the CSXT in Chicago slowly strolls beneath the large C&NW style signal bridge at NQ (East Nelson), milepost 103 on Union Pacific's busy Geneva Subdivision. Two CSXT AC4400CWs and a UP AC45CCTE up front for cab signal protection are in charge of this empty tanker bound for the Valero Renewable Energy facility located in Tara, IA. These classic searchlights are living on borrowed time as the arrival of PTC to the area is fast approaching, signalling the end of these structures... Pun intended. |
