| AMTK 31 leads an Illinois service train south through Chinatown just west of scenic Ping Tom Park. The steel lift bridge has seen better days, but is, of course, still fully functional. Minutes earlier it raised to allow a recreational boat to pass before lowering to allow several trains to cross this busy passage to and from Union Station. |
