After spending the last hour and a half attacking the slopes of Bald Knob ahead of a Shay, the last thing one expects to find atop a mountain is a C&O F7A and a B&O GP7! The Cheat Mountain Salamander, down from Elkins, is seen here at Old Spruce interchanging passengers with our train to Bald Knob.
