Less than a month before Conrail, the PC 4857 West leads its sister 4856 and a train of empty hoppers around the big curve near Chickies Rock. The 4857 and 4856 were both built by the PRR's Altoona Works in June, 1935; the 4857 with Westinghouse equipment and the 4856 with GE equipment.
