D&RGW lettered K-36 locomotives 489 and 484 pose atop Cumbres Pass alongside an interloper from the Rio Grande Southern. Michael R. Ripley [Rio Grande NG Photographer] provided the lighting (syncronized Broncolor strobes) and renumbering.
