Foreign Power on the Morristown & Erie
The Morristown & Erie has been known to lend a hand to the Dover-based H02 when they don't have power supplying them with one of the two Century Alcos. However in this case the Morristown & Erie is utilizing NS 3031, the NS unit would have the honors of pulling the M&E's public excursion a few days later. The classic bridge scene in Rockaway was made famous by the movie "The Station Agent" as the main character spent an evening watching trains at this very location. |
