| Nearing the end of their assault of the western slope of the famed Sherman Hill, two weathered AC4400s brace a clean ES44 past the famous rocks at Dale Junction. The Sherman Hill alignment was undertaken to eliminate steeper grades to Sherman and its massive winter snowfalls, as well as the bottleneck of the Dale Creek Trestle. |
