| Norfolk Southern's Interstate heritage ES44AC makes a rare run down the Piedmont as it leads Linwood to Chattanooga manifest 348. Fifty years ago, Southern sent the Interstate's 10 "Creamsicle" RS-3s from southwest Virginia to Atlanta, where they were repainted into the Tuxedo scheme and began service in Georgia and the Carolinas until retirement in the 1970s. |
