Palm trees, eucalyptus trees and the San Gabriel Mountains combine to create a typically southern Californian setting for a Union Pacific local, sitting in Long Beach, on the former Los Angeles and Salt Lake mainline (now no longer a mainline), as the crew has apparently headed off to "beans." This train consists of a pair of NRE 3GS21B Genset switchers and three cars loaded with trash containers.
