| Inter Regio 2323 from Basel to Locarno with Re 4/4 II 11158 in Rhyn?cht, between Altdorf and Erstfeld. Only some meters on the right is the north portal of the new Gotthard base tunnel (GBT), which will open in june 2016 for the operation and in december 2016 for timetabled traffic. All tecnology of the 57 km long tunnel is ready now and the test runs have started. |
