CNW 425 and 410 double head a commuter train along side another one headed by E8A 515, while two more commuter trains line up on adjacent tracks. Its a typical weekday afternoon, about 430 pm at rush hour on the northwest end of the CNW Madison St. station in 1979. Over the next two hours dozens of CNW "Scoots" will send thousands of Chicagoans homeward on the north, northwest, and west lines out of Madison St.
