Weekend Stay at the Station
Hurricane Sandy crippled many railroads throughout the Garden State, the NYS&W being one of them. The day before Hurricane Sandy an FRA inspection train ran on the Southern Division and spent the next week tied down in Butler as repairs to the mainline were made. Shortly after this photo was taken a detoured NS train would pass through town destined for Campbell Hall, NY. |
