Wilgis brakes his E60 to a smooth stop as the lantern-toting conductor prepares to alight from an Amfleet car. This train also featured a sleeping car, which was appreciated by passengers boarding in Boston for the 10:15 p.m. departure, with an arrival in DC by 8:15 a.m. Engineer Wilgis can be seen in the 960's cab on this web site in photo No. 551198. No. 960 was built by GE in July, 1976.
