Remarks & Notes

A westbound Q-train exits Abo Canyon with a nice mix of ATSF and BN color on the point. It's April 1998 and the BNSF heritage I scheme has already been replaced by Heritage II. However this train looks more like it's 1995. In 2015, BNSF's wedge scheme is now a decade old, yet the colors on this photo can still be seen. BN was able to repaint their fleet in 10 years.
