          Remarks & Notes
This Proviso to North Platte manifest is about 5 miles short of arriving at destination on the Union Pacific. The C&NW GP50's were equipped with 2 cab signal systems, both UP CCS and C&NW ATC, to facilitate run thru operation over the Fremont and Council Bluffs gateways, which made C&NW leaders commonplace on UP trains east of North Platte from the mid 1980's until merger time in the mid 1990's.

          Railroading in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, basically anything but the 2000s.
