Remarks & Notes

The Metre Gauge network of India is rapidly shrinking... Sikar Junction a few years ago was a busy interchange between Metre Gauge lines but now it is merely a terminus station with the line on to Churu closed for conversion and the line to Loharu now operational as broad gauge. As such 6627 awaits for departure time with the afternoon fast passenger back to Jaipur whilst in the background 6476 can just be seen being prepared for the evening train.
