SP MP15DC 2690 was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment into a "Truck Engine Switcher" (TES), or GS14B. This unique locomotive features a pair of Cummins 700hp truck engines are under its hoods. (This one-of-a-kind locomotive has been sitting in this same spot, visible from Alameda Street just north of Dolores Yard, for two months, making it an easy subject for railfans in, or visiting, southern California.)
