Some of us were visiting the IHC warehouse in North Philadelphia, and this shot was from the garage roof to the plant. I'm not sure but we may have spent more time on the roof than in the factory that day. Here we have a doubleheader with GG1 4939 on the point, which was originally Pennsy 4927 and is now preserved at Union, IL. The yard in the foreground has seen better days.

just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
