| An eastbound loaded coal train rolls downgrade along the Arkansas River near Texas Creek, CO. The consist is typical of the era, with a SP 231 and CNW 8727 trailing a less than two year old UP SD9043MAC. Since the closure of this line, rafters on the Arkansas River no longer have the pleasure of exchanging waves with the crews of passing trains. |
