| The ADM shuttle train off the Cedar River rolls east just out of Jesup on this frosty morning. ADM and CN continue running this dedicated train from their processing plant at Cedar Rapids, to elevators along the CN. The train makes 1 or 2 round trips a week normally. The train most days loads during the day, and then is pulled overnight. After the trip overnight, the train is in daylight by the time it usually reaches Waterloo. Makes for something eastbound daylights between Waterloo and Cedar Rapids if it works out right. |
