| UP 7772 brings up the rear of a northbound UP garbage train returning to Seattle from eastern Oregon. The train is on BNSF along Puget Sound at Steilacoom, south of Tacoma. The former NP depot is to the right. The increasingly over populated Seattle area ships out most of its garbage to waste handling sites in eastern Washington and Oregon. One result is this daily train handled by UP. The train rated 4 of the large GEs. |
