| The perils of chasing ALCOs in 2016... Working what should be a regular ALCO train, an EMD GT46MAC climbs the Shindavane Ghats with the morning Pune to Kolhapur Passenger. Whilst an increasing number of trains have been "booked" EMD power for several years now, this new phenomenon of substituting ALCOs with EMDs on an ad-hoc basis is a worrying development. |
