At the end of the southbound portion of the "City of Grenada" excursion train, the E units were cut away from the train in front of the former Illinois Central depot and ran through the yard tracks to the north end of the train to return to Batesville. This provided a brief opportunity to show the E's next to the blunt-end Illinois Central observation car "Calumet Club".
