      Remarks & Notes
A Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific transfer run heads upgrade from downtown Duluth to its west Duluth yard located on the hill side below Missabe's Proctor Hill climb. GP38-2s 5850 and 5853 were acquired from Grand Trunk Western and were originally delivered to the Rock Island Railroad. These units replaced aging Alco RS-11s, and within a year this trestle will be idled by a relocated yard at Pokegama, WI.
