| The new normal. Forty leased BNSF AC4400CWs are in the process of being placed in the cab car position of all Metrolink trains pending an investigation into whether the plows on Metrolink's Hyundai Rotem cab cars was a factor leading to train #102's derailment after striking a vehicle in Oxnard, CA on February 24, 2015. Until the investigation is complete and a new plow can be designed for the cab cars, Metrolink trains will run with BNSF locomotives in front of each cab car. |
