    Remarks & Notes
This former Central of Georgia line once ran from a connection with CofG's Macon-Savannah main at Gordon all the way to an interchange with onetime CofG affiliate Georgia Railroad at Covington. By 1981 the track between Eatonton and Machen had been abandoned for many years, so this local - its switching in Eatonton finished - is headed back south. The line is still in place, with several active shippers, but the shutdown of Georgia Power's Plant Harlee last year meant the end of 50 years of regular heavy coal traffic.
