Remarks & Notes

LSRC 975 meets its demise at the Alpena Yard back in 2011. The unit started its life as Boston & Maine #1517 before having its nose chopped and having a 12-251C engine put in by Morrison Knudsen. The unit came to the Detroit & Mackinac in September of 1975 and spent 36 years in Northeast Michigan before being scrapped.
