CB&Q 9911A, Silver Pilot shows off its nose in one of the sheds at the Illinois Railroad Museum at Union, IL. The unit is the locomotive that is used to run the Nebraska Zephyr that is part of the museum collection. This E5 locomotive is the last remaining example of this model, which was exclusive to the Burlington Route, built by EMD in 1940. It was built for Burlington subsidiary Colorado & Southern as CS 9952A.
